HIBISCUS (MALVACEAE) SYRIACUS

 

Winter hardy and resistant to cold, deciduous, flowering from the rich summer with white, pink, purple and lilac, also grown as small trees, are widely used as ornamental plants in gardens and in pots on terraces, as isolated trees or for the realization of flowering hedges.
The shrub is rustic and very branched habit, has leaves are oval and dark green, with the margin toothed or lobed. It can grow up to 3 meters in height.
In the period from July to October produces about 7-8 cm wide flowers in shades ranging from white to purple.
